Wild Bunch Degree Assistance
Please give 2 weeks notice if possible to get assistance. Thank you.
Dear Worshipful Master,
Remember “The Wild Bunch” is here to assist you and your Lodge!
What is “The Wild Bunch”?
We are Master Masons who love and care about the Lodges in our District. We do include our ladies in all our activities, excluding degree work, and we always try to have a good time. Our mission statement is as follows:
To share with all Lodges in the district, the practice of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. To introduce, promote and share the harmony, which formed “THE WILD BUNCH”, throughout the District, State, and eventually the Nation. To assist, by request, each Lodge in the goals of executing impressive ritualistic work to their candidates. To endeavor to promote activities, programs and education that furthers the real secret of freemasonry, “MAKING GOOD MEN BETTER”.
We can assist you in two ways;
- If your Lodge needs help in any degree, please call or e-mail the President, or any officer, with at least a two-week notice prior to the event. We are here to help fill in where needed. However, we are not to take the place of any officer or lecturer.
- By your participation and encouraging your Lodge membership to participate with “The Wild Bunch”, you are developing a solid line ensuring the ritual future of your Lodge. We all learn by practice and imitation. Your Brethren will be learning and working side by side with fellow Masons that are some of the most experienced ritualists in our district. All while experiencing fantastic Masonic fellowship and having some great fun in the process.
“The Wild Bunch” is open to all Master Masons. All they need is a desire to learn. Experience is NOT necessary. Each member helps where and when they can. There is no minimum participation.
If you would like to be a member, or know of a Brother or two, who would like to help other Lodges, then call or e-mail any of “The Wild Bunch” Officers.
2009 Closing thoughts from the President;
I would like to personally thank everyone who helped the Wild Bunch in any capacity this year, especially Bill Hunter. He was the workhorse that did most of the work by sending emails and assisting in getting help where and when it was needed. The sole purpose of the Wild Bunch is to provide assistance to lodges in giving the best degree to the candidate when the lodge may find itself in a bind.
Please join in on the fun and submit your name to be included in the email list and partake in the degree work, making yourself a better ritualist.
Thank you again for making this
year a success!
Rich Dickerscheid, President 2008-2009
